Reiki Treatments
A Reiki treatment takes about one hour. The session is usually done on a Reiki or massage table. It is recommended to wear loose comfortable clothing when being treated. The benefits of the Reiki treatment last for 24 hours. The hands are placed directly on the receiver as taught by Takata. The Reiki flows whenever there is good intention, so as Mrs. Takata used to say "Hands-on, Reiki on, hands-off, reiki off." The Reiki works on the physical, emotional and mental levels and goes where it needs to go in the person's body leaving the receiver in a very calm state.
Distant Reiki treatments can be set up when circumstances require. This is beneficial for those who aren't able to travel or live in another location. It is not uncommon for people to fall asleep during the session as there is such a deep level of relaxation that occurs. Reiki treaments can be set-up on Mondays and Wednesdays anytime between 3:30-6pm in Pemberton. Cost of a treatment is on a sliding scale from $30-60 a session.
